Salary: £80,000 per annum
Mayhew, a leading animal welfare charity working both in the UK and overseas, is seeking a Director of Income and Engagement to develop, lead and implement their Fundraising, Marketing and Communications strategy and maximise sustainable net income.
Mayhew is an animal welfare charity working to improve life for cats, dogs and the communities the charity works in. They achieve this through rescue, welfare, clinical support, preventative and rehoming work carried out from their base in London, as well as expanding work overseas to India, Afghanistan and Georgia.
The charity has set an ambitious growth agenda, and the Director of Income and Engagement will be responsible for the development, management and leadership of the charity’s Fundraising, Marketing & Communications teams and their goals.
As well as developing and implementing a leading-edge fundraising strategy for the charity to maximise income and supporter growth from individual giving, legacy, community and leadership giving sources, the role will also develop and progress a marketing (including digital) communications and public relations strategy for Mayhew that reflects brand values, optimises reach and integrates with the fundraising strategy. As a member of Mayhew’s Leadership team, the role will also involve contributing to the organisation’s strategic and operational planning.
Mayhew is seeking candidates that have an outstanding track record in developing and implementing cutting-edge fundraising strategies, encompassing a broad spectrum of fundraising and related marketing activities. You will have substantial experience of developing individual giving and legacy marketing programmes to drive growth in committed giving and long-term value. You must be a collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills, a proven ability to form partnerships at a strategic and operational level, and a talent for motivating and enthusing individuals working with you.
