Salary: £60,000 - £64,000 per annum
This is a new role at an international animal welfare charity and has been designed with a supporter engagement funnel in mind. You will work closely with other Heads of Department to develop seamless and integrated supporter journeys, through all earned and paid digital as well as traditional channels. Your team will be key to ensuring that that data, insights and optimisation are an integral part of delivering deeper engagement and greater impact, throughout the whole organisation.
As a member of the Senior Leadership team in the Fundraising and Communications department, the Head of Supporter Engagement will play a key role in devising a new 5- year programmatic strategy with ambitious income, supporter growth and engagement targets. The role will also coordinate strategies to recruit and harness personalised relationships with individual supporters in order to maximise their total lifetime value and create wider impact through large digital mobilisation campaigns.
This role will manage 3 teams - First Engagement, Supporter Engagement and Development and Journey Optimisation team. These teams will convert ambitious growth and engagement strategies into tactical plans that engage a national and international supporter base, in a wide range of activities including fundraising, volunteering and campaigning across digital as well as traditional marketing channels.
The charity is seeking a highly experienced senior digital fundraising or marketing professional with substantial experience in the area of supporter engagement/ digital mobilisation and oversight of implementation, with a proven ability to provide strategic direction and team leadership across a number of specialist functions, including acquisition, retention and data analytics. You will also have demonstrable in-depth experience of fundraising from individuals - both offline & digital acquisition, retention and data analytics.
