Head of Gulf Philanthropy
Location: Flexible (national or international)
Salary: Up to £59,400
The role of Head of Gulf Philanthropy at this international charity will have responsibility for driving the charity’s philanthropy in the Gulf markets. The role will maximise transformational major gift (£1m+) potential, drive new business and will steward high value relationships. It will involve proactively engaging with our most valued supporters, securing support and building sustainable relationships of value; sourcing significant income for the charity’s key priorities and - ultimately - transforming the lives of millions of children worldwide.
The role will be integral to the delivery of the charity's strategy to build long lasting, highly engaged relationships with philanthropists leading, cultivating & stewarding, with a focus on 7 figure gifts & relationships. It will also include a remit to proactively prospect, generating new links through peer to peer approaches & actively networking to generate a pipeline to a minimum of £10m annually. Finally it will ensure that transformational donors are stewarded with excellence and the delivery of a bespoke donor journey to ensure continuity of their engagement with the charity.
You will have extensive experience of working within major donor fundraising, preferably within an international context. You will also have as experience of developing, networking & enhancing philanthropic relationships, preferably at £1m+ giving levels, and of high-level stewardship. You will have the ability to collaborate & work across teams on complex programmes and donor relationships, building both strong internal and external networks and will possess excellent inter-personal, influencing and relationship building skills.
