My Story

I’m Tobin Aldrich and I lead AAW’s Global Consulting Practice.

I’ve worked with over 70 non-profit organisations internationally to develop and deliver a wide-range of strategic projects.

My team offer consulting support across organisational, fundraising, communications and digital strategy, as well as people and organisational development to help you achieve a step change in your performance.

I am supported by a team of exceptionally experienced staff and Associate consultants with a wide range of specialist expertise across all areas of non-profit management.

Imogen Ward

Imogen leads AAW’s People & Organisational Development practice working with non-profits of all sizes to develop and implement strategies to achieve transformational change. Imogen has worked in top leadership roles in the conservation, health and education sector for over 20 years and is adept at understanding the challenges of growing organisations within a complex setting.

Mark Astarita

Mark was one of the inspirers and pioneers of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Virtual Fundraising Hub. A true fundraising legend, as Director of Fundraising at the British Red Cross, Mark was responsible for trebling income to over £150m per annum. During his fundraising career, teams led by Mark have raised over £1.5 billion.

Steven Ramsay

Steven is the Founder and CEO at digital agency Big Mallet with over 20 years’ experience in building effective global brands. He has been lead creative on numerous website builds including Cancer Research UK, Action for Children and UNICEF. Steve is Creative Director of AAW and leads on AAW’s work on digital transformation for not-for-profits.

Poppy Naylor

Poppy is a senior fundraising and marketing strategist with extensive experience of developing major campaigns and innovation strategies. At Cancer Research UK Poppy significantly grew Race for Life and launched Stand Up To Cancer. Poppy now consults for Movember, Save the Children and UNICEF.

Bertie Bosredon

One of the best-known digital consultants operating across the INGO sector internationally, Bertie has over 20 years of experience in digital marketing and has worked with more than 80 non-profits including British Heart Foundation, Breast Cancer Care, UNICEF, WFP, Sue Ryder Care and Handicap International.

Jo Hastie

Jo is AAW’s Communications and Marketing Consultant, managing the AAW website, our Insight blogs and other communication projects. Jo has worked in the not for profit sector for 25 years in fundraising, campaigning and communication roles for a range of national and international charities.

We had a clear need to review performance, and set a new strategic direction.
