Many organisations have used the opportunity created by the current crisis to think about their direction and to consider how best to deliver their mission in the new world we are entering. That’s been no different for AAW.
Since we started (as Aldrich & Ward) in those far off days of 2016, we have worked with hundreds of charities and non-profits of all sizes to help them tackle their major challenges, which usually involves some combination of strategy, income generation and people, and often all three.
This crisis has created enormous challenges for the great majority of our clients and we need to think about how we best support them. What’s abundantly clear to us is that many, if not most charities are going to have to make fundamental changes in their models, approaches and strategies if they are to be able to deliver their missions over the next few years. We need to make sure we can facilitate and support that change as effectively as possible with the thinking and resources that will really help our clients make the best possible decisions that will make this transformation a success.
So we are expanding to meet these needs. The AAW Partnership Group, currently consisting of AAW and our digital agency, Big Mallet is being joined by the well-respected fundraising and communications agency Audience, bringing great people and a strong track record in developing and delivering integrated campaigns and fundraising propositions that are led by audience insight.
We’re also bringing on board Richard Yorke, founder of Pathfinder Fundraising and face-to-face agency Aspect FS who brings his vast experience of working with a wide range of not-for-profit clients as a consultant and having held senior leadership roles at Marie Curie, Stroke Association and Mencap amongst others.
The new shape of AAW consists of:
AAW Strategy
Our global strategic consulting practice working across all elements of organisational strategy and developing change programmes including market and sector insight and analysis.
AAW People
Our organisational development practice including Leadership Search for C-suite and senior executive roles in non-profits. It also includes our interim executive and specialist staff service for charities and non-profits of all types.
AAW Audience
Our practice developing audience-based strategies and developing and implementing transformational fundraising programmes.
Big Mallet
Our digital agency focusing on digital transformation and digital fundraising solutions.
The AAW Group will work together to deliver the most cost-effective solutions for all clients using our Insight, Inspire, Ignite & Implement model. We put together teams of experts to develop and deliver innovative projects addressing the needs of non-profit clients across all aspects of organisational strategy, fundraising, marketing, communications and digital transformation.
With over 100 current clients from the world’s largest INGOs such as the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement to many domestic charities of all sizes in the UK and Ireland, in addition to a highly skilled, multinational team with expertise across every aspect of fundraising and marketing, we think we are well placed to support non-profits in their change journeys.
Transforming non-profit business models is an enormous task and we don’t and won’t claim to have all the answers. But we do have an extraordinary group of people that can help you think through your issues, develop implementable strategies to address them and secure the people who will make them work.
Do give us a call if you would like to discuss any potential project with us.
